Practice Nurse Workshop

Practice nurses were invited to attend a workshop to share their experiences participating in the PEACH Study. The workshop was held at the Department of General Practice on Thursday 1st February 2007 between 5.30 to 8 pm. It was attended by 12 practice nurses from participating general practices.

Ms Jean Beriki from Dianella Community Health Centre and Ms Cassie Cheesman from Harding Street Medical Centre provided some insights into their experiences in identifying eligible patients, managing their workload, and undertaking baseline assessments.

All practice nurses participated in the general discussion with the study team, including Prof Doris Young, Dr Irene Blackberry, Ms Christine Mathieson and Ms Lynne Walker.
