Practice Nurse Lunch
Practice nurses from the first round were invited to attend a lunch to share their experiences related to participating in the PEACH Study on Saturday 19th July between 10am to 12pm. The lunch was accompanied by a lecture, which was held at the Department of General Practice.
Professor James Best, an endocrinologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, together with Professor Trisha Dunning, a diabetes educator and Professor of Nursing at Deakin University, provided a diabetes lecture on “Is there anything better than insulin for poorly controlled Type 2 diabetes?”.
